Another cool thing it took me a few deaths to realize was how the patterns of the crows and vultures and their cries is consistent, so I started listening to that to figure out when to shoot instead of looking at my opponent! Was that intentional? If so, awesome diagetic design!
Good eye! Both things do repeat and are not made with RNG, wanted to tie the sound and the bird with the actual moment of shooting (at first I didn't even added the brief mark over the enemy heads, but I wanted to be extra sure that people were able to see more visual cues).
Love the whole vibe of this! The quick-draw aspect is something I always wish more games would do and it's done very well here!
Also, if you hold both arrow keys at once you can moonwalk in place which is pretty funny
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, definitely agree on the quick-draw thing, there should me more games with that mechanic.
And yeah, the moonwalk is one thing I always fight against while using Construct but this time I decided to embrace it lol
